This course will describe the present and future roles of Biomedical Physics in the diagnosis and treatment of human disease, focusing on the interdisciplinary nature of this field. This will include exploration of two diseases in depth with detailed description of the roles of physics-based diagnostic imaging and therapeutic options for each disease. Description of current and future technologies, as well as techniques that exploit interaction between diagnosis and therapy. (Winter)
